Android Troubleshooting

If you run in to any trouble on your Android Phone or Tablet the following steps should get you up and  running again:

1) Ignition

Confirm that your engine is on or the ignition is in the 'running' position.

If reading codes with the engine off ensure the ignition is in 'run' and not 'accessory' - one quick check to confirm this is when in 'run' your battery light on the dash will be illuminated and you will be able to turn on your cabin fans.

A note on push-button start: If your vehicle uses a keyless starting system press and hold the 'start' button with your foot off the brake to put it in 'run' mode.

2) Bluetooth

Check your bluetooth settings and ensure that bluetooth is on and your BlueDriver is paired

3) Multiple Paired Devices

Ensure there are no other paired phones or tablets in range with their bluetooth on (they may try to connect automatically)

4) Restart

Restart your phone or tablet by pressing and holding the 'power' button

5) Reset

Force close the app and clear app data

6) Power

Remove your BlueDriver and then plug it in again, watch for the solid blue light . If no light comes on when you plug it in there could be an issue with a fuse on the vehicle (often shared with the cigarette lighter). If you contact support they will be happy to help hunt down the offending fuse!
